Fazil Honours 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Exams to Begin on August 2: Schedule Published

Good news for madrasa students across the country. The Arab Islamic University has released the examination schedule for the 2025 first, second, third, and fourth year bachelor’s degree (Fazil) exams, which include regular, irregular, and retake candidates. The exams will begin on August 2, 2026.

The university’s Examination Control Office announced the schedule in a statement issued on Thursday, July 9.

Key Exam Information at a Glance

  • Exam start date: August 2, 2026
  • Exam time: 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Admit card: Candidates must collect their admit cards from their respective madrasahs at least 7 days before the exams begin
  • Reporting time: Every examinee must enter the exam center at least 30 minutes before the exam starts

Important Rules for Examinees

The university has issued strict instructions along with the schedule. Candidates have been instructed to complete their OMR forms carefully and accurately, as any errors on the OMR form could lead to serious complications later.

Furthermore, mobile phones and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the exam room. Students should keep this in mind and leave their devices at home or with a tutor before entering the building.

The detailed routine and any further updates can be found on the university’s official website at www.iau.edu.bd, and the full notice is available in the notice section of the site.

Distribution of Answer Scripts and Exam Materials

To ensure the smooth running of the exams, the university will distribute blank answer booklets and other necessary materials on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at the Exam Control Office (Building 2).

Those in charge of the respective exam centers, or their designated representatives, have been asked to collect the materials during these hours.

A Few Words for the Candidates

With exams starting in early August, candidates now have a clear timeline to plan their final preparations. Our suggestions: collect your admission card well in advance rather than waiting until the last week, double-check your exam center and time, and practice filling out the OMR forms carefully if you haven’t done so recently. Arriving early at the center on exam day will save you unnecessary stress.

We will publish the detailed timetable by subject and any changes to the schedule if the university issues further notices. Stay tuned for all updates regarding education at the madrasa and the exams.
