RUET Admission 2026: The Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has confirmed the date for the first-year undergraduate admission test for the 2025–2026 academic session. The exam will be held on January 23, 2026.
For the first time, the admission test will take place at two centers: RUET in Rajshahi and BUET in Dhaka. The question paper will be the same at both centers, so every student will be evaluated equally.
The decision came from the 154th emergency Academic Council meeting, which was led by RUET Vice-Chancellor Professor S. M. Abdur Razzak.
According to RUET, around 19,000 students will be allowed to take the test, while the university has just over 1,200 seats. The exam will follow the MCQ format, which has been the standard in previous years. Authorities say that adding BUET as a center will make the process easier for many students who live far from Rajshahi.
RUET officials confirmed that the test will take place at two major centers:
- RUET Campus, Rajshahi
- BUET Campus, Dhaka
Both centers will run the test at the same time, and candidates will answer identical question papers.
