The Public Works Department (PWD) is expected to publish the PWD Exam Result 2025 for all posts within a short time. Candidates who appeared in the written MCQ examinations are now waiting for the official result announcement. The result will cover the posts of Office Assistant Cum Computer Operator, Account Assistant, and Office Support Staff (Office Sohayok).
The written MCQ exams were held on different dates in December 2025. The exams for Office Assistant Cum Computer Operator and Account Assistant posts were conducted on Friday, December 12, 2025. The Office Support Staff exam was held on Saturday, December 13, 2025. All exams took place at multiple centers across the country.
According to PWD sources, the examinations were completed smoothly. No major incidents were reported during the exam period. After the exams, the authority started checking the answer scripts without delay.
A total of 1,04,350 candidates applied for the three posts. Among them, 21,550 candidates applied for the Office Assistant Cum Computer Operator post, 29,350 candidates for the Account Assistant post, and 53,450 candidates for the Office Support Staff post. Due to the high number of applicants, competition was very high for all positions.
PWD officials said that the result preparation process is now at the final stage. The authority is working to complete the evaluation as quickly as possible.
“The written MCQ exams for all posts have been completed successfully. We are now finalizing the results and hope to publish them soon,” a PWD official said.
The PWD Result 2025 will be published in PDF format. The merit list will include the roll numbers of candidates who have passed the MCQ exam. Separate result lists may be published for each post to ensure clarity.
Once released, the result will be available on the official website of the Public Works Department at pwd.gov.bd. Candidates will not receive any SMS or personal notification. They have been advised to check the website regularly for updates.
PWD officials also said that candidates who pass the MCQ exam will be called for the next stage of the recruitment process. Depending on the post, this may include a practical test, viva voce, or document verification. Detailed information about the next steps will be announced later through an official notice.
Candidates have been warned not to trust unofficial sources or social media claims. The authority has asked applicants to follow only official announcements published by the Public Works Department.
