The 1st Release Slip application for Preliminary to Masters Admission 2025 for the session 2022-2023 is set to start today, Sunday (September 7). National University will start collecting application from 8 PM. Those candidates who are not selected in the merit list, can submit the application till September 17, 2025.
Like the past year’s, this year a lot of students not selected in the merit list. A notice “We are happy to inform you that you are in the list of successful candidates but not in the Merit list.” showing on their student profile.
National University announced the 1st Release Slip Application for the interested candidates.
“The Release Slip for Preliminary to Masters admission (session 2022-23) will be start on September 7. The online application will be continued till September 17, 2025. Interested candidates are advised to complete the process through the admission portal,” the notice reads.

The authority also said that candidates can apply up to three college through the release slip. They will no need to submit the form to the respective college. For this, they will need to enter on the official website and enter their admission roll and pin number.
National University published the Preliminary to Masters Admission Result 2025 on August 7. The merit list was made live on the official website at 6 PM on the admission portal. Those who are selected, were advised to complete the final admission process within August 17, 2025.
This year, National University announced the Preli to Masters Admission apply date and time on May 28. The online application through the official website (nu.ac.bd/admissions) was started on June 2. According to the admission circular, the application was ended on July 30, 2025.
As per the source, lakh of students who passed in the Degree 3rd Year Exam, applied for the Preliminary to Masters Admission. Among them the highest CGPA holders placed the 1st merit list. Their final application last date was August 17, 2025.
