The admission process for Khulna University (KU) Undergraduate Programs for the 2025–2026 academic session is officially set to begin soon. The online application will start on November 7, 2025, and continue till November 27, 2025.

The information has confirmed through the university notice on Thursday night (October 30).

“The online application process for Khulna University (KU) will be start on November 7 and end after 20 days on November 27. The admission test will be held on December 18 and 19, and the results will be published on December 30, 2025,” the notice reads.

After completing the final admission process, orientation, registration, and classes will start on January 25, 2026.

KU Admission 2026 Details Announced

Khulna University has officially published its admission test schedule and regulations for the 2025–26 academic session. This year, the university will admit students to 1,109 seats under its four academic units — A, B, C, and D — including quota seats.

The notice also stated that the university has expanded its exam centers this year for the convenience of applicants across the country.

A Unit: School of Science, Engineering, and Technology

A total of 320 seats have been allocated under the A Unit, which includes 303 general and 17 quota seats. Candidates must have a minimum combined GPA of 8.00 in their SSC (2022–23) and HSC (2024–25) examinations.

The admission test will consist of a 60-mark MCQ section and a 40-mark written section. For applicants seeking admission to the Architecture Discipline, there will be an additional drawing test as part of the selection process.

B Unit: School of Life Science

The B Unit has 281 seats in total — 266 general and 15 quota seats. The eligibility requirement is a minimum combined GPA of 8.00 in SSC and HSC.

The test format will be similar to that of the A Unit, featuring a 60-mark MCQ and 40-mark written section.

C Unit: Schools of Arts, Humanities, Social Science, Law, Education, and Fine Arts

The C Unit offers the highest number of seats — 415 in total, including 391 general and 24 quota seats.

To apply for this unit, candidates must have a combined GPA of at least 7.00 in SSC and HSC examinations. Applicants for the Fine Arts Discipline will face additional written and drawing tests apart from the regular exam.

D Unit: School of Management and Business Administration

A total of 88 seats are available in the D Unit, with 83 general and 5 quota seats. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately, while a GPA of 3.00 in English is mandatory.
