Junior School Scholarship Syllabus 2025 Published, Check Mark Distribution

Students who are studying at Class 8, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced an important notice for them. The Junio School Scholarship Syllabus 2025 along with rules has been published for all education board. Interested candidates must know the Subject Wise Mark Distribution to participate the exam.

The information has officially confirmed on September 3, 2025. Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has issued the rules regarding the Junior Scholarship Exam.

According to the notice, a maximum of 25% students of Class 8 studying under Secondary or lower Secondary schools can take the part in the exam. The exam will be held for 400 marks.

“A maximum of 25% students of class 8 studying under Secondary Education Board (based on the results of the collective evaluation of all quarters of class 7) can participate in the junior scholarship examination. The National Steering Committee may re-fix this number from time to time,” the notice reads.

It is said on the notice, students will get two types of Scholarship: Talent pool and General Scholarship. The exam will be held on five subjects—Bangla, English, Mathematics, Science, and Bangladesh & Global Studies. Those who will participate the exam can get detailed mark distribution below.

  • Bangla: 100
  • English: 100
  • Mathematics: 100
  • Science: 50
  • Bangladesh and World Identity: 50
