The HSC Result Challege (known as Re-scrutiny, Khata Challenge, Result Review) process begins today, Friday (October 17) at rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. Interested candidates from Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, and Madrasah Board can apply online only till the last date, October 23, 2025.
This year, the pass rate of HSC and Equivalent result dropped at 58.83% which is lowest compared to the last 10 years. A total of 12,51,111 candidates from 11 Education Board participated the exam, among them about 5 lakh students are failed.
As per the report, this year’s pass rate is lowest compared to the last 10 years while some colleges like Cadet College pass rate reached 100%. The 12 Cadet College of the country also creates a record with 99.66% GPA Rate.
Candidates who are not satisfied with their result, can apply the HSC Board Challenge. This year, the Higher Secondary Education Board introduced online system for the application. Interested candidates must submit their application online at rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd website.
According to the official notice, the application process will be start on Friday, October 17 (Today) and continue till October 23, 2025. Candidates will need to pay 150 Taka for each subject to review.

Know how to apply HSC Board Challenge Online
- First of all, students will need to visit the official website at rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd
- On the homepage, “Rescrutiny Application” window will be appear with a box.
- Students need to select their Education Board Name from the drop-down menu.
- Type the Roll and Registration Number.
- The Exam and Year will be selected automatically which can’t be changed.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- On the next page, students will require a Mobile Number.
- The Subject Wise Result will be displayed on the next screen.
- Select the Subject One By One and submit them.
Candidates must be aware that they need to pay 150 Taka for each subject. For example, if a student wants to review 2 subjects, 350 Taka will be charged for the application. They can pay the fee using bKash, Nagad, Rocket and Teletalk SIM Card.
