The date and time for GST Admission 2026 for 19 General, Science and Technology University has been announced officially. The admission test for the academic year 2025-26 will be held from March 27, 2026, with the “C” unit.

The decision made during a meeting held on Thursday (October 23) at the University Grants Commission (UGC) Conference Room in Agargaon, Dhaka.

According to the latest update from the UGC, the GST Admission test will start on March 27, 2026.

“The Cluster Admission test for 19 General, Science and Technology (GST) will be held from March 27, 2026. On that day, the “C” Unit exam will be held first. The remaining two-unit exams will follow at one-week intervals,” announced during the meeting.

A detailed circular including the application start date, fee submission process, and admit card download schedule will be announced soon through the official GST admission website.

The GST (General, Science, and Technology) Admission System allows students to apply to 24 public universities through a single, combined admission test. This system helps reduce exam stress and saves time for both students and universities.

The test is divided into three units:

  • A Unit: Humanities
  • B Unit: Business Studies (Commerce)
  • C Unit: Science

This year’s test schedule gives students a clear timeline to plan their studies. With one week between each exam, candidates can prepare better for the next unit. It also helps the universities manage the exams more smoothly.
