The Govt School Admission Result 2026 has been officially released through the digital lottery system. This year, 107,521 students have received the chance to get admission into different government schools across the country. Even after completing the lottery, more than 14,095 seats are still vacant, according to the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE).
The admission lottery took place on Thursday, 11 December 2025, at the International Mother Language Institute in Segun Bagicha, Dhaka. The entire event was conducted under the central admission system, which ensures transparency and equal opportunity for every applicant.

The DSHE confirmed that this year’s admission process includes both government and non-government schools. A total of 4,048 schools participated in the online system, offering 1,193,281 seats in different classes.

- 121,030 seats in 688 government schools
A total of 107,521 students were selected from the available government seats. As a result, 14,095 seats still available after the lottery. This means there is still a chance for many students if the authorities open another round or publish an additional merit list.

Govt School Lottery Result 2026
The result is now available online. Students can check it by logging into the official admission website. The merit list shows the names of the students who have received a seat and the school where they have been placed.

How to Check Admission Result
The result has been published on the government admission portal. Students and parents can check the result by following the steps below.
- Visit the Official Website: Go to gsa.teletalk.com.bd from your phone or computer.
- Select the “Lottery Result” Option: After the page opens, look for the Result or Lottery Result button and click on it.
- Enter Your Details: Type your User ID and Password correctly in the input boxes.
- Click “Submit”: After entering the information, press the Submit button.
- View Your Result: The merit result will appear on the screen. It will show whether the student is selected and, if selected, which school has been assigned.
The website will also show further instructions about the admission schedule, required documents, and important steps that must be completed on time.
If a student is not selected, there is no need to worry. DSHE may announce further updates regarding the remaining 14,095 vacant seats. The authority often publishes additional lists if many seats are still empty.
