The Directorate of Primary Education is going to recruit a massive number of Head Teachers in Primary Schools. The Primary Head Teacher Circular has been published by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC). A total of 2,169 Head Teachers will be recruited through this notification.
The information was officially confirmed on Sunday, August 31, 2025. The Public Service Commission (PSC) published this notification for 2,169 posts. On the same day, they released the revised schedule for ATEO Exam, set to held on September 12, 2025.
It is said on the notice that the trained teacher’s grade has been fixed at 11th and 12th grade for the freshers/untrained. The authority has fixed the grades according to the National Pay Scale 2015.
Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University. However, the Directorate of Primary Education set a condition. Those who have a third division or equivalent GPA or third class or equivalent CGPA in any exams in educational life will not be allowed.

Marks Distribution and Syllabus
The PSC will announce the exam date and time in the coming month. Candidates will need to participate in the test. The written type of exam will be conducted for 90 Marks. The question will be made from various subjects including Bengali, English, Mathematics and Daily Science.
According to the notification, candidates will need to get at least 50% marks in the exam. On the other hand, there will be 10 marks for Viva Exam. Those who will pass in the written, will be eligible for the viva exam.

- English = 25
- Mathematics & General Science = 20
- General Knowledge (Bangladesh & International Affairs) = 20
