The Dental Admission Test 2026 for the 2025–26 academic year in the country’s public and private dental colleges may be held by January 9, 2026. According to the Directorate General of Health Education (DGME), the dental admission exam will be organized within a month after the medical admission test is completed.
The date for the Medical Admission Test 2026 has already been finalized. The MBBS admission test will take place simultaneously across the country on December 12, 2025.
Dental Admission Test 2026
The DGME plans to organize the Dental Admission Test either in the last week of December or the first week of January. The final date will be fixed after consultation with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) and other related authorities.
Professor Dr. Nazmul Hossain, Director General of DGME, said:
“Our plan is to hold the dental admission test either in the last week of December or the first week of January. The final date will be decided after discussions with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) and other relevant stakeholders.”
Following the usual pattern, the dental admission test is expected to be held about a month after the medical test. Therefore, the exam is likely to take place by January 9, 2026.
Medical Admission Test 2025-2026
The Medical Admission Test for the 2025–26 academic year has already been confirmed. The test will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, across the country for admission to both public and private medical colleges.
The date was finalized in an informal meeting at the Ministry of Health Education and Family Welfare on Monday.

Official Statement
Regarding the medical admission, Professor Dr. Nazmul Islam told to the media:
“The medical admission test will be held on December 12. This has been finalized. We are making all necessary preparations for the examination. The application process and other related matters will be finalized and announced very soon.”

After the completion of the MBBS admission process, the BDS admission test will follow. Students can expect the official circular and online application schedule to be published in December 2025.
