The National University (NU) has officially published the Degree Admission Result 2025 for the session 2024-25. Interested candidates can check their 1st Merit List from 4 PM today through Mobile SMS. The Result can be checked on the university’s official admission website after 9 PM.
The information has officially confirmed on October 30, 2025. NU issued a notice in this regard on the admission portal.
“The 1st Merit List for the Degree Admission session 2024-25 will be published on November 4, 2025. Candidates can check their merit status from 4 PM through SMS. The admission portal will made the result live at 9 PM, the notice reads.
According to the university’s notice, selected candidates on the first merit list must complete their final admission process between November 4 and November 16, 2025. The registration fee for final admission has been set at 720 Taka, which must be paid to confirm admission.
Know how to check Degree Admission Result 2025
As announced by the NU authority, students can get their Degree Admission Result 2025 in two convenient ways — online and through mobile SMS. To check online, candidates need to log in to the official NU Admission Portal using their application roll and pin number.
Follow the steps below carefully to view your result online:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to the National University Admission Portal at www.nu.ac.bd/admissions
- Select “Degree Pass” Option: On the homepage, you will see multiple tabs for different programs. Click on the “Degree Pass” tab.
- Click on ‘Applicant Login / Check Merit Result’: This option will allow you to log in using your credentials.
- Enter Required Information: Input your Application Roll Number / Applicant ID and PIN that you received during the application process.
- Click on the “Submit” Button: After entering the details correctly, press “Submit.” The system will automatically display your 1st Merit Result on the screen.
- Check Your Merit Status: You’ll see whether you’ve been selected for admission, along with your college name and subject details.
Alternatively, they can send an SMS in the following format:
nu<Space>atdg<Space>Application ID
and send it to 16222 to receive the result instantly on their phone.
Students placed on the 1st merit list will need to fill out the Final Admission Form through the admission website, print it, and submit it to their chosen college along with the 720 Taka registration fee.
National University urges all selected students to complete the online form fill-up and final admission steps within the deadline to avoid automatic cancellation. All updates, circulars, and notices are available at nu.ac.bd and the admission portal nu.ac.bd/admissions.
Students who are not selected in the 1st Merit List should not worry. The university has confirmed that the 2nd Merit List will be published shortly after the completion of the first admission phase. In addition, candidates will later get the opportunity to apply through a Release Slip process if seats remain vacant.
This year, Degree Admission Circular 2025 was issued on September 16, 2025, for the academic year 2024-25. The online application process began the same day at 4 PM and continued until October 15, 2025.
According to the circular, candidates who passed SSC or equivalent exams in 2020, 2021, or 2022, and HSC or equivalent exams in 2022, 2023, or 2024, were eligible to apply. The application fee was set at 400 Taka, which increase from the previous 250 Taka fee.
