Class 8 Scholarship 2025: Exam Routine, Syllabus and Mark Distribution

The Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (DSHE) is going to conduct the Class 8 Scholarship 2025 for All Education Boards. Students who are studying in class 8 under the Dhaka Board, Dinajpur Board, Comilla Board, Chittagong Board, Rajshahi Board, Jessore, Sylhet, Mymensingh, and Barisal Board can participate in the exam.

The Ministry of Education Board released a notice titled “Junior Scholarship 2025 Policy”. According to the notice, the exam will be held for 400 marks. Interested candidates will need to know the exam routine, rules, syllabus and mark distribution in detail to take part in the exam.

Junior Scholarship Exam

Bangladesh Education Board has officially announced the Junior Scholarship 2025 for Class 8. A notice in this regard was issued on September 3, 2025. The authority said that the students who are studying in class 8 can participate in the exam. Interested candidates must have enough marks in the final exam of Class 7.

The authority stated that “A maximum of 25% students of class 8 studying under Secondary Education Board (based on the results of the collective evaluation of all quarters of class 7) can participate in the junior scholarship examination.”

Class 8 Scholarship Syllabus 2025

The Syllabus is an important part of every exam, like SSC, HSC, and University Admission. This year, the Bangladesh Education Board will conduct the Scholarship Exam based on the published syllabus. Interested candidates will need to follow the syllabus to participate in the exam.

The Class 8 Scholarship Exam will be held on five subjects—Bangla, English, Mathematics, Science, and Bangladesh & Global Studies. Candidates will participate the exam for 400 marks. The detailed mark distribution is given below.

All Board Exam Routine

The Junior School – Class 8 Scholarship Exam Routine 2025 will be published soon. Till now, there is no official update. It is assumed that the exam will be conduct in second week of November.

Note that, the Junior School Certificate (JSC) Examination was conducted in November for Class 8 students. Every year, about 14 to 16 lakh students from all over the country participate in the exam from the General and Madrasah Education Board.
