The MBBS and BDS admission test results for the 2025-26 academic year will be published on Sunday, December 14, shortly after noon. The announcement was made by the Directorate General of Health Education (DGHE).
Students who took part in the medical and dental admission test will be able to check their results online once the authority makes it official. This result is very important, as it will decide admission to government and private medical and dental colleges across the country.
This year, the competition was very high. More than 1.22 lakh students appeared for a limited number of seats. Because of this, candidates are eagerly waiting for the result.

How the Merit Score Is Prepared
The final merit score is calculated by combining academic results and admission test scores.
Here is how the calculation works:
- SSC GPA × 8 = 40 marks
- HSC GPA × 12 = 60 marks
These 100 marks are added to the score from the written exam.
Candidates who are appearing for the exam for the second time, or who were admitted earlier, will receive small mark deductions. This is done according to DGHS rules.
Seat Distribution for Medical and Dental Colleges
For the 2025–26 academic session, there are 13,051 seats in total.
- Government medical colleges: 5,100 seats
- Private medical colleges: 6,001 seats
- Dental colleges (government and private): 1,950 seats
This year, there are around nine candidates for each seat. This shows how competitive the admission test is.
