The 49th BCS Result (Special Cadre) for the Preliminary Exam to be published soon. The merit list for the selected candidates will be announced on the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) official website.
This year, the Preliminary Exam of 49th Special BCS was conducted on October 10, 2025. A total of 176,670 candidates participated in the MCQ Type exam. But 312,000 candidates across the country have registered for the 49th BCS Exam.
As per the report, the possible date for 49th BCS Result was announced on the Preliminary Exam Date.
According to PSC official, the result will be published within 7 days of the exam;
“The results of the 48th Special BCS (for doctors) were released within just three days due to fewer candidates. However, as the 49th Special BCS includes a significantly larger number of applicants, it might take around 7 to 10 working days to complete the evaluation process,” the official said.
Meanwhile, the authority announced that the Viva Exam for the Qualified candidates will be start from October 26, 2025.
“If everything goes as planned, the viva exams will conclude by November, and the final recommendation list could be released by the first week of December. If the process finishes earlier, results may even come out in the last week of November,” the official added.
This year, a total of 176,670 candidates across the country appeared on the 49th BCS Exam. Candidates are now eagerly waiting for their results.
