After Twitter, Facebook announced Paid Facebook Blue Badge Verification for its users. Facebook’s parent company Meta going to roll out Blue Badge Tick Mark called Meta Verified announced today, February 19, 2023. Interested users need to pay $11.99 per month. Besides, iOS users will need to pay $14.99 per month as the subscription fee.
Mark Zuckerberg officially announced this through his official Facebook Account. This week we are starting to roll out Meta Verified; A Method to get Facebook Blue Verification Badge. The CEO announced this on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
As per the announcement, the subscription system will be available this week. Meta will provide a subscription system for Australia and New Zealand. After that, more countries will be able to apply for Facebook Blue Verification Badge for $11.99/month in the coming week.
The CEO said that Meta Verified is a subscription service that will allow you to verify your account with a Government ID to get a Blue Badge Tik Mark. It will provide extra impersonation protection against accounts claiming to be you, and get direct access to customer support.

Good morning and new product announcement: this week we’re starting to roll out Meta Verified — a subscription service that lets you verify your account with a government ID, get a blue badge, get extra impersonation protection against accounts claiming to be you, and get direct access to customer support. This new feature is about increasing authenticity and security across our services. Meta Verified starts at $11.99 / month on web or $14.99 / month on iOS. We’ll be rolling out in Australia and New Zealand this week and more countries soon.
Meanwhile, lakhs of Facebook users are happy to get such news who are trying to get the blue badge many times. But, many users who already have the Badge commented that “Now, we have to pay $12 to keep the Badge?”. Although, Zuckerberg not even mentioned anything regarding the matter.
Earlier, Facebook Provides the Blue Verification Badge only to those users who have huge fans and followers. Most of the users including Government Officials, Politicians, Actors, Actresses, and Sports personalities are eligible for the Badge.
